Arthur comes to commercial real estate following a successful career as a US Navy officer.  He brings a wealth of leadership experience in command and control systems, intelligence, communications and computer systems, engineering, high-risk occupational safety, mishap investigation, large civil construction projects, logistics, and international negotiations.

A North Carolina native, Arthur is a graduate of East Carolina University and completed extensive post-graduate training at UNC, Chapel Hill. Following law and graduate school at UNC, he was commissioned in the Navy, whereupon he traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and the world, working and living in South and Central America, the Caribbean, Southern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Japan.

As a commercial broker, Arthur specializes in High-Performance and LEED certified properties, as well as Sustainable, Community-Centric Urban development, Adaptive Reuse of existing facilities, and Mixed/Multi-Use projects that promote more Livable Communities and Environmentally conscious use of Land.

Arthur and his lovely wife Lisa have lived in Asheville since 2003. Arthur’s daughter, Erin, attends the University of Virginia.
